ADMISSIONS
What makes us different is that we are an extended school and offer a range of services and activities, beyond the school day, to help meet the needs of children, young people, their families, and the wider community. The school is open from 7.30am for breakfast club and closes at 6.30pm, offering opening hours to suit the needs of most working parents. We are also open 51 weeks per year with an optional holiday club providing activities and additional care during school holidays (extra cost incurred). Included in our already reasonable fees are many facilities and services other schools would consider as extras.

Childcare vouchers can be used as part payment (salary sacrifice scheme) for children attending Kindergarten Class and breakfast, after school and holiday club. Our class sizes are no more than 24 children with a qualified teacher who is supported by a teaching assistant ensuring that pupil to teacher ratio is never greater than 12:1 The school’s aim is to achieve the academic potential of each student and to further their social development, making them happy and confident individuals who are well prepared for the future. At Green Meadow Independent School, our purpose is to enable children to fulfil their potential. We will encourage them in independent thought, curiosity and a love of learning, which help them grow in self-worth and confidence within a caring, safe and supportive environment. We aim for all children to feel safe and valued as part of a caring community that celebrates success. We want our pupils to be independent thinkers/learners who are able to seek solutions creatively and co-operatively. We will inspire our pupils to enable them to ask questions and be confident enough to take risks in their learning. We encourage all pupils to be polite and courteous and be proactive in their responsibilities towards the community, society, the environment and economy, linking ‘real life’ with our learning. We instil an understanding and respect for diversity and help them develop a sense of self-esteem and therefore creating well balanced and healthy individuals
